In the summer months so you can enjoy all the facilities to the full we will present you with your "Summer card" which
entitles you to FREE use of various local activities, this means huge savings to the family.
Hiking in the Salzburger mountains is an experience all of it's own, you will find that most of the walks start directly at your
front door. There are 80Km of walking paths, with a further 300km of scenic hiking tracks for either a leisurely stroll or an ambitious climb to the higher
trails. It is very much a walker's paradise with its rolling hills and deep, shady gorges and big massifs of limestone. Whilst up on the mountain pastures, stop
and visit one of the charming quaint cabins to enjoy a little refreshment whilst taking in the breathtaking views.
There are 480km of cycle and Mountain bike tracks. Whether you are a leisurely relaxed cyclist or an extremely fit mountain
biker, you will feel at ease on the well-marked traffic free routes. Quality hire bikes are locally available.
Canoeing and white water rafting in the challenging Saalach River is a real hair-raiser. Lofer hosted the 1998 white water
canoeing world championships (the international slalom course passes behind our house) All courses and trips can be pre booked. www.motion.co.at

FREE unlimited use of heated (23-26oC) modern outdoor swimming pool, with waterslides and fast moving rapids, set in landscaped
grassed, sunbathing areas with table tennis and volley ball. FREE use of neighbouring village of Unken for the indoor and outdoor village pool with gym, sauna
and steam room. FREE local bus to Unken pool.
FREE entry to the nearby natural wonders of the Voderkaserklamm caves 400m long, 80m deep with natural bathing pools and
BBQ areas. FREE entry to Seisenbergklamm a stairway erected in 1831 by local woodworkers through the 600m long 50m deep gorge. FREE local bus to swimming
pool in Unken and the gorges.
Golfing is situated in the middle of the Alps, amongst the well known holiday spots Zell am See, Kaprun, Saalbach Hinterglemm,
Saalfelden and Leogang. This is a perfect location for all golf enthusiasts. The five championship golf courses are embedded in the fascinating, mountainous
landscape of Pinzgau and offer a variety of greens that present an enjoyable challenge for both high and low handicap.
There are also tennis courts, mini golf, horse riding; children's play areas and fitness trails all in the village.
